Having a doula for your birth means you'll have two prenatal visits at your convenience to prepare for your birth (one of these visits can be your doula accompanying you on a routine visit to your provider), mentoring support by phone, text and email throughout pregnancy and 24/7 on-call period from two weeks before your due date through two weeks after, support throughout your labor, immediate postpartum support for the first two hours after your give birth and two postpartum visits to follow up and help you with the adjustments to parenting.
